It felt like a bender… It’s really just a lack of sleep, same thing.

Night, after night, after night we pray that we’re going to reach the coveted sleep through the night. The reality is, we’ll take an hour at a time. You always hear “my son is 6 months old and they’re sleeping through the night.” Or you read about “where” your baby should be when sleeping, how long, when, and how often.  Leading up to having a child we did our homework, we wrote down miles stones and everything we should expect. We talked to friends with children, our parents, and co-workers. You get the “be prepared not to sleep” talk. We were ready… we were not ready.
